Sisyrinchium angustifolium

Blue Eyed Grass is a native perennial found in eastern North America. Despite its common name and grass-like foliage, it’s actually not a grass, but a plant in the iris family. It produces violet to blue star shaped flowers, which attract small native bees. It thrives in moist, well drained soils. In the wild, it’s often found in meadows, wet lowlands and moist forests.
