Coming Spring 2022

Coreopsis rosea

Rose Coreopsis, or Pink Tickseed, is a rare plant that’s listed as Extirpated in Pennsylvania, but we’re trying to bring it back! This beautiful native plant blooms all summer long. It produces light pink flowers, which are scattered along its thin, green leaves. It’s clump forming and foliage can be quite dense. It may self seed enough to form a groundcover. Its seeds are sought after by birds, particularly Bobwhite Quails. This would make an excellent choice as a border for a garden!
