Claytonia virginica

Spring Beauty is a delicate, spring blooming perennial that’s native to eastern North America. In the wild, they’re usually found in moist woodlands or in the vicinity of trees. Flowers are white with pink stripes. These stripes may vary in width and shades of pink. Flowers provide as an early nectar source for small native bee species. A native bee, Andrena erigeniae, or Spring Beauty Miner Bee, is a specialist pollinator of Spring Beauty.
